Bomb scare at Kolkata airport, Air India flight stopped
An Air India flight was delayed at Kolkata airport on Tuesday (20 September) after Air India reportedly received a call claiming that there is a bomb on its Guwahati-bound flight.
‘The caller threatened to 'blow up' the Guwahati-bound Air India 729 flight. According to reports, the call was made at about 8:20am alerted them about a suspected bomb on the 09:30am flight to Guwahati’, reports catchnews.com.
‘Taking preventive measures, the authorities have disallowed boarding after the plane has been taken to an isolated place, where a bomb detection and disposal squad is inspecting It’, reports Zee News.
