Bhubaneswar: At least nine Kabaddi players were killed and 15 others were injured when a mini-truck overturned in Odisha’s Sundargarh district in India on Sunday.

The accident occurred at about 4:30pm local time on Saturday when the team from Sendhapur village in Bonai block was returning after playing a tournament in the neighbouring Dhundigaon, reports NDTV.

Police said while three persons died on the spot, three others died on way to hospital. The injured were admitted to Ispat General Hospital.
