Dhaka: Avant-garde Productions will organise ‘Darbari’, a new series of Indian Classical Music Nights in Dhaka.

The inaugural episode of the string, sponsored by Opsonin, is coming up on Friday, 11 December 2015 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Chhayanaut at Dhanmondi in Dhaka.

The show offers Tabla, Flute and Santoor recitals. The event features solo Tabla recital by Mir Naqibul Islam, a prominent Tabla artiste and Layakari expert of this time, Flute performance by eminent flutist and teacher at Chhayanaut Murtaza Kabir Murad who will be accompanied by Ratan Kumar Das on Tabla, and finally, Santoor recital by the only regularly performing Santoor artiste in Bangladesh, Shantanu accompanied by Mir Naqibul Islam on Tabla.

Classical music enthusiasts can buy tickets at venue before the show. Entry to show costs Tk 200 and Tk 150 for students with ID card.
