A painting exhibition titled ‘Taste of Light and Darkness’ will be launched on Tuesday at Alliance Française de Dhaka.

Participating in the exhibition are ASM Rashidul Alam, Mohammad Al-Akhir Sarker, Mohammad Azmol Hosen, Sayed Fida Hossain, and Sultan Istiaque.

The inauguration of the exhibition will held in La Galerie at 5:30pm. Artist Shahabuddin Ahmed will be present on the occasion as the chief guest. Dhaka University fine arts professors Syed Abul Barq Alvi, and Jamal Ahmed will be present as special guests.

The group painting exhibition will strive to express the weal and woe of human lives from the perspectives of natural light and natural darkness of the day-to-day life. In the paintings, the participating artists have brought the fundamental nature of light and darkness as well as style and vintage those ultimately add up to several superbly balanced compositions.
