Mymensingh: Almost 1,500 children became victims of different types of oppressions including abduction, sexual harassment, torture, rape, murder, and child marriage in the last three months across the country.

The information was given on the final day of the 2-day workshop for journalists on Child Protection and Advocacy in Mymensingh, organised by the non-government development agency World Vision.

Twenty five print and electronic media representatives from Mymensingh, Tangail, Netrakona, and Sherpur participated in the workshop.
