Gazipur: A fire broke out at an electronics factory of Jamuna Group at Shafipur in Kaliakoir on Wednesday night.

Fire service officials said the fire might have started from the television (TV) section of the factory at about 6:00pm and soon spread over all other sections.

On information, 10 fire-fighting units from Kaliakoir, Savar EPZ and Gazipur rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after three and a half hours of efforts.

The extent of the losses by the fire could not be confirmed immediately.
