Dhaka: The Bank and Financial Institutions Division on Monday signed separate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with seven specialised banks and financial institutions over their respective annual programmes and thus gear up their activities.

Banking and Financial Institutions Division secretary Dr M Aslam Alam and chairmen and managing directors of the banks and financial institutions signed the MoUs on behalf of their respective sides at the secretariat in presence of State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan.

According to the deals, the banks and institutions will implement a set of targets, mutually determined by the division and the institutions, in the current fiscal of 2015-16.

The banks and financial institutions­–Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB), Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RKUB), Investment Corporation Bank (ICB), Karmasangsthan Bank, Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank, Probashi Kallyan Bank, Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation–will have to implement the MoUs in the current fiscal year (2015-2016).
