Savar: Muggers shot a student of Titumir College and snatched away his motorbike on Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Savar in the early hours of Sunday.

Rajib Hossain, 25, a second year honor’s student of the college was taken to Enam Medical College and Hospital.

Mizanur Rahman, Rajib’s father, said miscreants fired four rounds on him near C&B area on his way to Savar from his Tangail residence. Two bullets hit Rajib’s left arm.

Savar Model Police officer-in-charge Motaleb Mia said police is trying to find out the muggers.
