Benapole:  Two young men allegedly committed suicide in separate incidents at Sharsha and Jhikargachha in Jessore early on Wednesday over family disputes.

The deceased were identified as Khalilur Rahman, 25, son of Shamsul Haque, a resident of Gorpara village in Sharsha upazila, and Abbas Ali, 22, son of Abdur Rahim, a resident of Panisara village in Jhikargachha upazila.

Police, quoting family members, said upset after knowing that his father refused to give him money for business, Khalilur took poison at their residence on Tuesday night.

Khalilur was taken to Jessore Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injures early in the morning on Wednesday.

In another incident, Abbas committed suicide by taking poison over a family feud on Tuesday night.
