Dhaka: At least 16 people were injured as a bus overturned near Radisson Hotel on New Airport road in Dhaka on Wednesday.

The Gazipur-bound passenger bus of ‘Gazipur Paribahan’ turned turtle after hitting the road divider at about 4:15pm, said cantonment police sub-Inspector Shakhwat Hossain.

Thirteen of the injured passengers were taken to nearby Kurmitola general hospital where most of them were given first aid, SI Shakhwat added.

Police went to the spot and removed the bus from the road.
