Brahmanbaria: A woman reportedly poisoned her minor daughter to death before killing herself over a family feud at Akanagar village of Bancharampur upazila on Saturday night.

The deceased were identified as Shahinur Akhter, 30, wife of Yusuf Miah of the village and their daughter Jannat Ara, aged one and half years.

Police and locals said Shahinur fed her daughter rice mixed with poison and later she herself took those.

Sensing the incident, locals took them to the Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared the mother and daughter dead.
