Dhaka: A man reportedly committed suicide by taking poison at Nakhalpara near gate no 4 of the Prime Minister’s office on Thursday afternoon.

Quoting witnesses, Majharul Islam, officer-in-charge of Tejgoan Police Station, said Nurul Islam, 42, took poison and fell sick near the gate at about 12 noon.

Later, he was taken to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
