Keraniganj: Students of Jagannath University (JnU) on Thursday blocked the roads in front of the campus and in Bahadur Shah Park area protesting the killing of their fellow Nizam Uddin, a student of the university, and demanding immediate arrest of the killers, reports UNB.

A section of students staged the road blockades while another section staged a sit-in in front of Mitford Hospital at about 10:30am.

Earlier on Wednesday night, Nizam Uddin, a third year student of the university, was hacked and shot to death by a group of miscreants at Ikrampur in old Dhaka city.
