Dhaka: The National Moon Sighting Committee is going to meet on Friday evening to set the date for Eid-ul-Azha after reviewing the moon sighting information of Zilhajj month.

Religious Affairs Minister and Chairman of the committee professor Motiur Rahman will preside over the meeting to be held at 6:45pm at the conference room of Islamic Foundation in Dhaka, said a PID handout.

People have been urged to inform the committee over the following phone and fax numbers or any other way if they see the moon of Zilhajj of 1437 Hijri anywhere in Bangladesh sky.

The phone numbers are 9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9556407 and 9558337, while the fax numbers are 9563397 and 9555951.
