Chittagong: The missing honours certificate of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader Diaz Irfan Chowdhury, who was found dead at his residence, and the freedom fighter certificate of his father were found on the Chittagong University campus on Monday.

CU Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury said a cleaner of Shah Amanat Hall found the two certificates by the hall dinning room around 10 am while cleaning the area and informed the hall authorities.

On information, he recovered the certificates and kept those in his office, said the proctor.

Somebody might have dumped the certificates there, Ali Asgar, said adding that the family members of had Diaz earlier informed him that the certificates had gone missing after his death.

On November 20, the body of Diaz, former joint secretary of central BCL, was found hanging from the ceiling fan of his bedroom at his family's rented house in the CU Gate-2 area.
