Vice principal discharged over sexual harassment
The vice principal of Mohammadpur Preparatory Higher Secondary Girls' School Zinnatun Nesa has been discharged from her responsibility following the incidents of sexual harassment of two minor schoolgirls.
The accused two fourth grade officials have also been dismissed.
Also, in face of protest, the authority declared that the institution will remain closed till 25 May.
Professor M Tamim, a trustee board member of the institution, gave these declarations on Saturday.
He also promised to take actions against the culprits after the probe committee gives the report.
Guardians and students staged demonstration and formed humain chain at the campus on Saturday as the probe committee did not submit the report which was scheduled to be submitted toady.
A grade one student was sexually assaulted on 5 May. Guardians and students have also alleged that another grade five student is now admitted at hospital after sexual assault.
Mohammadpur Police said no cases have been filed till now over the incident.
