Manikganj: The prize distribution ceremony for the successful sheep farmers in Manikganj was held at the district chief administrator’s [deputy commissioner] conference room on Tuesday.

Deputy Commissioner Rashida Ferdous was present in the programme as the chief guest while Abdul Halim district life-stock officer in the chair.

Department of Agriculture Extension deputy director Alimuzzaman Miah and district women affairs officer Jamila Khatun, among others, spoke on the occasion.

A total of 21 sheep farmers in seven upazilas of the district were awarded for their good performance.
