Modi greets Hasina on Ramadan

London: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi phoned his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina, now in London, on Tuesday morning greeting her on the occasion of holy Ramadan.
PM’s Press Secretary AKM Shameem Chowdhuri said the Indian Prime Minister greeted Sheikh Hasina on behalf of his countrymen and his government.
“Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also greeted the Indian Muslim community on the occasion of holy Ramadan,” Shameem Chowdhuri said.
He also said the Indian Prime Minister thanked the people of Bangladesh and the Prime Minister for the warm reception given to him during his recent Bangladesh tour.
