2 Bangladeshis shot dead by BSF in Jhenidah

Jhinaidah: Two Bangladeshis were shot to death by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Lebutala frontier in Maheshpur upazila early on Wednesday.
The deceased are Amirul, 35, a resident of Lebutala village, and Faizul, 35, a resident of Jululi village in the same upazila; both of them were cattle traders.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) members said BSF troops from Kashinathpur border camp in 24 Parganas district of India opened fire on a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders in the area when they were going to India to bring cattle at about 5:00am, leaving Amirul and Faizul dead on the spot.
Jessore BGB-26 commander Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain confirmed the incident.
