Jamalpur: A man was killed and another injured as an auto rickshaw collided with a truck at the Belbetia Madrassah area of Jamalpur on Friday morning.

The deceased is Arfan, 30, residence of Char Jatharthopur Ujanpara in Sadar upazila. Local people said that two auto rickshaw passengers, Arfan and Sagar, were severely injured during the collision at about 9:00pm.

Arfan died on his way to hospital.

Sagar was taken to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.

amalpur sadar police sub-inspector Shehnewar confirmed the death.
