Narail: Bodies of a couple were found hanging with a single scarf from a tree at Bhumurdia village in Sadar upazila of Narail.

Police recovered the bodies of the duo hanging from the tree near a beel (water body) at the village on Friday afternoon.

Locals found the hanging bodies at noon and informed police, said Sadar Police officer-in-charge Sheikh Matiur Rahman.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the bodies and sent those to Narail Sadar Hospital for autopsy.

Police suspected that the duo took their lives over love affairs.
