Fanta to launch talent hunt for Teen Pop Band

Dhaka: Beverage drinks Fanta is set to launch a talent hunt to find Bangladesh’s first teen pop band. After an extensive search for talent, the select teenagers will be shortlisted, vetted and groomed and launched into musical stardom. The interesting and engaging format includes reality show to be aired on GTV.
In its effort to hunt across the country for the finest teen talents, Fanta Teen Pop band is asking participants to do a self-audition. To participate in the audition round one needs to call at 3690 and after hearing a beep s/he needs to tell his/her name, age and address and sings any song of his/her choice. After the song is sung, the participant needs to press hash (#). The participants need to press ‘1’ button on their phones to submit the audition and press ‘2’ to re-take the audition.
Top 300 teenagers will be shortlisted and move to the next level in the hunt for country’s top teen pop band.
In phase two, celebrity judges will pick the 100 most talented teenagers. The judges Elita Karim, Zohad and Fuad will be looking for not just talent but also the Fun and Play factor that makes a teen pop band a rage. After a thorough vetting and in-person audition of the top 100, 20 lucky and talented teenagers will be shortlisted to go into the grand finale. These talent and diverse group jury members have been tasked to identify the top five that will go on to become country’s first ‘Fanta Teen Pop Band’.
The select band members will then undergo grooming and training to prepare them for playing and creating songs together. The Fanta Teen Pop Band will come up with two original songs, which will be composed by Fuad. The band will also feature as lead stars in music videos for the songs giving them an opportunity to reach every corner of the country.
This Teen talent hunt will conclude at a gala event, attended by some of the top personalities in the music world in Bangladesh, where the band will be introduced live along with their original music videos to the country.
