Dhaka: India’s West Bengal-based singer Nachiketa is well-known for his natural mode of singing and ‘slices of life’ kind of lyrics. He is very picky when it comes to giving vocal to any playback song.

However, Asif Islam and Faisal Roddy have succeeded in convincing the master singer to give voice to their second directorial venture ‘Jajabor.’

The recording of the song is done recently at Studio Sonic Solution in Kolkata. Titled as Chupti Kore the song is penned and tuned by Faisal Roddy. The composition is done by Asheq Manzur.

While talking with this reporter, Asheq says, ‘I’ve grown up listening to Nachiketa’s music in the early 90s. Though He is a singer from Kolkata, I think through his realistic pattern of songs, he has carved a distinct niche for himself among the Bangladeshi music enthusiasts as well. I consider it as a great honour to be able to feature him in my composition.’

Nachiketa also showers Asheq with some inspirational words. To quote him, ‘I have loved the song and the composition by Asheq which is in sync with the lyric. This is how our contemporary songs are being made and I think Asheq has done a fabulous job.’
