Actress Parineeti Chopra has said that her parents Pawan and Reena Chopra always treated all their children equally and there was no discrimination of any kind.

‘I grew up with two brothers [Shivang and Saraj] but my parents never subjected us to any kind of discrimination and made sure I get the best education,’ Parineeti said. ‘I believe that girls and boys should be treated as equals and we need to work towards eradicating all discrimination that still exists. The men of the house should stand up and take the responsibility of educating every single woman of their family thereby bringing about a major change in society,’ she said.

Parineeti will be seen on the TV show Mission Sapne , where she helps a 13-year-old Bhavna Suthalya secure a better future. Bhavna dreams of becoming an IPS officer to bring stability in her family. Her parents Bhanu and Archana are visually challenged and sell books and stationery in local trains. Parineeti will be seen selling books and stationery at a suburban mall, the proceeds of which would go to Bhavna and her family.

Hosted by Sonali Bendre, Mission Sapne, is about the dreams come true of people who have struggled but never left their spirit to achieve something. The show invites celebrities to financially support the underprivileged and lend them financial support by engaging in their job for a day.
