‘Some days she will look better and some days I will,’ Sara Ali says about Janhvi
Boney Kapoor and late Sridevi's daughter, Janhvi Kapoor won a lot of hearts with her debut film, Karan Johar's Dhadak, alongside Ishaan Khatter. Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter, Sara Ali Khan did some and more with Kedarnath and Simmba.
And if you haven't heard of it yet, the war between their dedicated fan pages is on and how! Both the star-kids have more than just a filmy family in common; they already have a huge fan-following right after their respective debuts and by the looks of it, it is only going to grow, reports the bollywoodlife.com.
But that's not all. Headlines about their names usually end up in comparisons and not in a good way. From their style statements to their acting skills, you name it and there are polls making the rounds.
And of course with that, a bucket full of judgement that somehow shows up from some corner after pitting them against each other. But the good thing is that the self-imposed rivalry stays in the headlines only.
How do we know that? Cause Sara took the opportunity to clear the air. In a recent chat with Filmfare, Sara opened about Janhvi and said, ‘She’s stunning. This whole thing (rivalry) about Janhvi and me is so funny. We’re both extremely comfortable and confident in our skin.’
Not just that. She also spoke about the inevitable question - ‘Who's better?’ and added, ‘The industry is huge and has a place for everyone. You’ve got to be comfortable in your skin and respect the other’s job as well. I respect her, she respects mine and at the risk of speaking for her, we respect even those people who make those collages. Their money also depends on it. Do it, we don’t mind. Some days she’ll look better, some days I’ll look better. It’s all good.’ So, now you know!
