Director Amitabh Reza has his hand full as he is set to go for new venture after his recent blockbuster ‘Aynabaji’. He has planned to shoot two back to back projects this year.

‘I’ll shoot new movies this year, but the shooting will not be rolling at the beginning or middle of this year. I decide to shoot in the last two months of the year’, he told NTV Online. 

He also revealed the reason for shooting lately.

‘People asked me to make another movie right after ‘Aynabaji’. But, I think I should take enough time to make a standard film. Currently, we are working on the script. Ranjan Rabbani has his hands on the script,’ he added.

Amitabh denied to reveal the story.

He said, ‘The plot will entail social issues. But, it will not have similarities with ‘Aynabaji’.

Chanchal Chowdhury and Nabila starred in Amitabh’s first blockbuster thriller ‘Aynabaji’. But the director did not expose if the duo would be roped in his next movies.

‘Chanchal and Nabila might be in the films too. No final decision has been made yet about the casting. But this time, there will also be surprise for the viewers’, said Amitabh.

Ad maker Amitabh Reza made his big-screen directorial debut with ‘Aynabaji’. Released on 30 September 2016, the movie was an instant blockbuster hit. It made a record 91 shows in 10 days that is highest number for any Bangladeshi film.
