Dhaka: Blues Communications, in association with IFIC Bank, is all set to commence the second Jazz and Blues Festival at Le Meridien Dhaka’s rooftop from Sunday.
 
The three-day event will feature the performances of Gary Husband, an English jazz and rock drummer, pianist and bandleader, Bangladeshi Armeen Musa, New York’s Oz Noy Group, and Deepak & Friends on the first day’s lineup.
 
SAD Trio, Jakob Dinesen, An All-Star Celebration of the Music of Miles Davis, Ranjit Barot and ‘Slang’, Soulmate and Lurrie Bell’s Chicago Blues Band will perform on the other two days.
 
Tickets for the event are available at select restaurants in the capital-- Lucknow (Banani), Tabaq (Jamuna Future Park), Bistro-E (Gulshan-2), Cilantro (Dhanmondi), Cafe Memoire (Uttara) and online.
