She is known as the Kim Kardashian of India. Though she is a south Indian actress, Kabita Radheshaym, also appeared in Bollywood movies. Recently, Bangladeshi actor Nirab has paired up with Kabita in a film, Shaitan. Shaitan is set to release this year. The Indian actress Kabita, talked to NTV Online about the film.

NTV Online: Your upcoming film Shaitan will be released this year. Tell us something about your character in the film.

Kabita: I played the role of a Shia Muslim woman, who is very emotional. The characterisation is very challenging.

NTV Online: You have worked with Bangladeshi actor Nirab. How will you evaluate Nirab’s role in the film?

Kabita: Nirab played the role of a CBI officer in the film. As the story progresses, I fall in love with him, and we get married incapacitating family’s resistance. Nirab played his role well. In one word, I must say, he was outstanding. Nirab is a very hard working actor. Many actors from Bollywood praise Nirab. Some of them said he is even better than Shakib Khan.

NTV Online: Why do they compare between Shakib Khan and Nirab?

Kabita: The Bollywood media studied on internet about the best actor in Bangladesh, before sitting for a press conference. They think Nirab is far better than Shakib.

NTV Online: Do you know Shakib Khan or did you ever watch any of his films?

Kabita: No, I don’t know him. I never watched any of his films.

NTV Online: Were you doubtful, when you got offer to work in Shaitan?

Kabita: At first, I was a bit scared, as the story of the film is based on a controversial issue. Later, Faisal Saif and Samir Khan made the whole storyline clear to me. Nirab also helps me a lot to make decision about working in this film. I’m grateful to him.

NTV Online: What are your expectations for the film, Shaitan?

Kabita: It will be one of the mostly discussed films in Asia. You may either love the film or hate the film, but you cannot ignore the film.
