Popular filmstar Riaz and television actress Nawshaba paired up for a drama, Bikhyato Babu, for the first time.

Written jointly by Moinul Islam Rubel and Bashar Georgis, the drama will be telecast at 8:45pm on 10 March on ATN Bangla. Bikhyato Babu is directed by Bashar Georgis.

Besides Riaz and Nowshaba, several actors from a local theatre troupe of Faridpur city could be seen in the drama.

The drama is based on the story of an ordinary person who becomes famous.

A UK based charity organisation, Practical Action Bangladesh, is the producer of the drama.

Actress Nowshaba about the drama said, 'The storyline is amazing. I believe the audience will appreciate our acting. Apart from regular locations, the drama was shot in Faridpur.'

Riaz said, ‘My character’s name is Babu. Shammi is my lover in the drama. Some funny incidents will be shown in the drama. And for the first time I have paired up with Nowshaba for a drama. She has acted nicely. I'm hopeful for the success of the drama.’

Riaz, who is now regularly seen in television dramas, Krishnopokkho is the last movie he appeared. On the other hand, Nowshaba’s latest movie Bhubon Majhi has been released recently. Right now, Nowshaba is also acting in her upcoming movie Dhaka Attack.
