Dhaka: Kolkata's popular film actor Jeet will arrive in Dhaka on June 13 instead of June 5 with a view to promoting his Indo-Bangla film "Boss 2".

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jazz Multimedia Alimullah Khokon confirmed UNB about the new schedule of the visit of Jeet to Dhaka.

However, he did not mention any reasons for the change of the schedule.

The hero, who is a producer and television presenter, will also open the poster of the film at the programme.

Jeet's recent visit to Dhaka will promote the film to Bangladeshi audience and mark his presence at its premiere.

"As part of promotional work, Jeet will participate in different programmes to talk about his film in different platforms. The actor is scheduled to leave Dhaka on June 7," Abdul Aziz added.

The film "Boss-2" jointly directed by Baba Yadab and Abdul Aziz is expected to hit Dhaka cinema halls during the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.

Production house Jazz Multimedia is producing the film from Bangladesh side while Jeet's new production company Jeetz Filmworks and Walzen Media Works are involved in the production from Indian side.

"Boss 2: Back to Rule' is a sequel to his 2013 film of 'Boss: Born to Rule' and the second installment of the Boss film series.

The film features Subhasree Ganguly and Nusrat Faria Mazhar in the lead roles while its music is composed by Jeet Gannguli.
