Actress Nova and her husband director and cinematographer Rayhan Khan were injured in a road accident on Biswaroad in Comilla on early Monday. The driver of the microbus carrying them died in the accident.

Nova’s elder sister Antara Firoz and niece Protyasha, who were also in the car, were injured in the accident.

All of them were taken to the Chauddagram upazila health complex.  Later, Nova’s husband, sister and niece were shifted to the Square hospital in Dhaka. They are undergoing treatment there.

Nova on her Facebook page wrote, ‘We have come back from the face of death by the grace of Allah. Protyasha, sister and Rayhan are critically injured. My sister’s two legs were broken. The car driver died.’
