Dhaka: Bangladesh actress Diti is suffering from brain tumor. Bangladesh Director Association secretary general Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar confirmed the information on his social networking site Facebook on Monday.

Diti is now having treatment at MIOT Hospital in Chennai, India, and she will undergo a surgery on Tuesday, Mushfiqur Rahman wrote on Facebook.

After taking primary check-up, she left Dhaka for Chennai for better treatment on 25 July.

Diti had been suffering from physical ailment for several days. Though she did not disclose anything before media, it is believed that she took medical treatment from various hospitals in Dhaka.

Her daughter Lamia, son Dipta and Mushfiqur Rahman accompanied Diti in Chennai.
