Narayanganj: Shamim Osman, an Awami League MP from Narayangaj-4, cast his vote in Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) election and showed it all, violating the election code of conduct.

A photo went viral in the social media site Facebook where Osman was seen showing his ballot paper stamped with ‘Boat’, the election symbol of Awami League.

He cast his vote at Narayanganj Bar Academy polling station at about 2:45pm.

According to election rules, showing a ballot paper in public after casting vote is a punishable offence, reports news agency United News of Bangladesh.
