Renowned television production house ‘Fagun Audio Vision’ has made a special musical programme on the occasion of the Independence Day. Titled as the ‘Surjodoyer Gaan’, the show is emceed by the popular actress Aupee Karim. The show contains five patriotic numbers sung by the leading singers of the country.

The picturisation of all the five songs are done in large canvas with huge settings. Gazi Mazharul Anwar has written a patriotic duet song composed by Ali Akbor Rupu and sung by Andrew Kishore and Kumar Biswajit. Thousands of the members of the Bangladesh Armed Forces participated in this music video. A group song by Syed Abdul Hadi, Shammi Akhter, Protik Hasan and Nirjhor is another attraction of the programme. The song is composed by the new music sensation Pritom Hasan and the lyric is penned by Mohammad Rofiquzzaman and tuned by Hanif Sanket. Kumar Biswajit has given vocal to a special song on war heroines. The song is written by Major (Retd) Anis-ul-Islam and tuned by Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul. The programme also has patriotic songs by veteran singers: Fahmida Nabi and Rofiqul Alam.
