Minar’s song from Tolly film ‘Fidaa’ released on YouTube

Young Bangladesh singer Minar Rahman came into the music scene with Danpitey (2008) and soon became a recognised name in the country.
And now, the talented singer is heard on the other side of the border too. He was roped in for a song — Eka Din— in Fidaa, a movie directed by Pathikrit Basu starring Yash Dasgupta and newbie Sanjana.
Penned by Prasen, the song was directed by Arindom while Ankur Mukherjee was in guitar arrangements.
The video of the song was released on YouTube on 14 June. And, if the social media reports are to be believed, the song is making a buzz among the listeners.
Minar’s first released song, Shada, which was composed by Tahsan, was widely circulated and Minar came up with back-to-back albums, reports timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
‘I had first heard his song, Aha re, around two years back and was touched by the music and lyrics. I searched him on the net and listened to his other songs like Jhoom and Karone okarone, among others. He has his own style of singing, but with Eka din phaka raat, I wanted to break away from that. I’m hoping this song, penned by Prosen, will be liked by all,’ said Arindom Chatterjee.
The composer got in touch with him and sent him the scratch. ‘He recorded the song in Dhaka and sent it to me,’ said the composer.
